This gently-loved Barbie doll features jointed, poseable arms.

My gently-used Barbie doll has jointed arms, a very pretty face and is in need of a new home. I have way too many models, more than I'll ever use so I'm trying to find new homes for some of them.

This pretty Barbie doll can hold her hands as if she's holding something. There seems to be a discoloring or white spot on each of her thumbs. I am not sure which Barbie this was since I bought her used myself. 1998 is the date imprinted on the back of her neck. Her long blonde hair looks like it either had thin braids in it at one time and now they're undone--they have that look that braids have when you take them out. She has small pink earrings and a vinyl headband which looks like a plastic rubber band. These kinds of rubber bands won't hurt your doll's hair like the latex or rubber type will over time.

This Barbie doll is one of the newer styles with the smaller chest but most of my Barbie doll clothes will fit her with no problems. Now if you should order one of my Barbie strapless gowns , you will need to tell me that it's for a smaller-chested Barbie and I will use one of those as the model to make the bodice smaller. It's not a big problem but I need to know so that the gown will fit your Barbie, especially if you buy this one.

Barbie is not wearing a gown of my creation but most likely the one from the manufacturer that she came in. It's sort of a satiny pink fabric with glittery swirls of a darker pink shade. The upper bodice covering and sleeves are made of a silvery fabric as is the double-fold cummerbund. The skirt of her dress dips in the back ever-so-slightly to make a very small train effect.

This Barbie would make a nice gift for that special little girl who is just getting into playing with Barbies or even a collector who may know which one this is or happens to like the jointed arm flexibility of this style Barbie doll. Either way, Barbie is looking forward to someone who will change her clothes a lot. She's been wearing this gown since I got her! And she has gotten rather picky by living here. She's informed me that she is tired of this evening dress and would wear no other gown but the ones that I create, if she could. Now coming from the dolly diva herself, I consider that quite the compliment!
