My Barbie doll clothes business experienced a wonderful 2011 so I wanted to
say Happy New Year and thanks to all of you who are customers and welcome to
anyone who is not yet a customer.
I am currently enjoying a much-need break with my family, just spending
time with them until my daughter goes back to college on the 8th. So I am
also taking a sewing break that long. Please hold off on any calls or emails
until then. I have received some orders, all of which understand that they
will not be processed or worked on till January 9. Thank you again for a
very successful 2011 and here's to a great 2012!
NEWS! Barbee and Friends now has a toll free number which is
1-888-776-8890. Here's how it works: This will be a message of me greeting
you and asking for your name and number. You will have 60 seconds to leave
me a message or a question about Barbie clothes. I will then call you back on my cell phone when I get a break
in my sewing day. This is to alleviate the calls that come in the evenings

in the shopping cart message area if you need your order by a certain date. I can't always
guarantee you'll get it by then especially if you haven't given me enough
lead time but I will try my best. Please try and order at least a month or
more before you need something for a special event.
Both my sites always keep me well-supplied with work making doll clothes and I really
never know how much will come in at any given time, so remember, please allow anywhere
from 1-4 weeks before you actually receive your order. It's just safe to
always assume that I'm busy. Then when you get your order sooner, it will be
a nice surprise--or if you don't see it for a week or two, you won't be
upset because you will already know that I am busy. If you want
to know where your order stands, please don't hesitate to call or email me.
I try very hard for good communication and will let you know if something
unusual has come up such as a family emergency or real life situation.

not too large, not too small. At Barbee and Friends, your handmade Barbie doll clothes are created by just two people, myself and my mom. I make most of the doll clothes currently shown on this site--Mom makes some as well.

To be sure you get your order for a special occasion, please order 3 weeks or more in advance if possible. At any given time there can or will be people ahead of you--if not you'll be pleasantly surprised! Please remember, all the doll clothes are handmade and most of the time your order will be made when you order. Due to all my wonderful customers buying so much, it's hard to keep items made fast enough and there aren't many things I can keep stocked
due to the differences in Barbie bodies. Thanks for your patience!
NEW! In the shopping cart there is a field for you to enter your Barbie's body type, classic or smaller build. This helps me to adjust the
Barbie clothes so they will fit better. It's a great idea to measure your
doll so that her clothes will fit. Classic doll = 5 1/2 inch bust line and
the newer dolls are 4 1/2 inches. On most of the clothes, it's very
important that I know what type of doll you have, especially if it is a
strapless gown. Even though about 95% of my orders are for the newer doll
body, it's still good to know what type doll you have. It saves me the time
of calling or emailing you. In fact, with some styles, when the space is
left blank, I have been assuming the doll is a newer body. When I'm
power-sewing, I simply don't have the time to contact people if the
information is not supplied.
Some people have asked about the dress set in the logo picture. Yes, I can make that for you and I still have a good amount of the tiny violet print fabric. Just click on the picture and it will take you to the

PLEASE NOTE: I do not have a catalog. My website is my catalog. By not having a catalog, I keep YOUR costs down.
All you have to do to make a wishlist is to print out the pages you like and
mail it to Grandma or Aunt Betty so they can order those items for you. I
prefer orders to be placed online but can certainly understand that some
customers simply prefer ordering by phone which is fine. Just have the item
name, price and quantity written down along with your card information.
Custom orders not accepted
(unless I think Mom would want to handle it) but regular orders are welcome!
